- Contest Description:
This Get Certified & Share Contest (“Contest”) begins on October 14, 2022, at 9:00 AM IST and ends on October 31, 2022, at 11:59 PM IST (the “Contest Period”). Entrants will be asked to complete a bootcamp OR self-certification from Open Weaver on community.openweaver.com (“Community”) and share their certificates in their social networks (“Social Networks”) limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn along with a short note on their experience. The review should comprise of the tags @OpenWeaverInc (if posted on Twitter & Instagram) and @openweaver (if posted on Facebook & LinkedIn), also #OpenWeaver and #kandi (“Tags”) to be qualified.
- Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all who are at least 18 years of age (an “Entrant”). Sponsor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising, and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees, and their Household Members and Immediate Family Members are NOT eligible to enter the Contest or win. “Household Members” shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. “Immediate Family Members” shall mean parents, stepparents, legal guardians, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Prize:
The winners of the Contest (“Winner”) will receive an Amazon Gift Voucher of $100 (the “Prize”). Only three Prizes will be awarded. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award the Prize in an Amazon store that is closest to the Winner or a substitute Prize with something of equal or greater value if the Prize described in these Official Rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of the Prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen Prize. The Prize will only be awarded and/or delivered to email addresses of the Winner. All federal, state, and/or local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the Prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
- How To Enter:
To enter the Contest, you can submit your entry in your Social Networks. Refer https://community.openweaver.com/t/hacktoberfest-contest during the Contest Period and ensure your entry is in in accordance with instructions on the website. Multiple entries by an individual are permitted. Automated, robotic, commercial contest service, contest entering service, the similar type of entries is not allowed and will be void and disqualified. Final eligibility for selection of the winner of the Contest and the award of the Prize is subject to eligibility verification. All Entries must be submitted prior to the end of the Contest Period. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Contest.
- Winner Selection:
The Winner of the Contest will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion and whose decision is final, based on total number of Open Weaver certifications, quality of their assessments and the experience note submitted. The selection of the Winners will be made within 30 days of the end of the Contest Period.
- Winner Notification:
The Winner will be contacted on their Social Network ID within 2 weeks of the selection of the Winner. The Winner selected must respond to the notification accepting the Prize by reply email within 10 days of the notification. The Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure of any notification for any reason, including inactive Social Network ID(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or the Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any Social Network ID. Failure to timely respond to the notification of selection or the return of the notification as undeliverable shall result in the forfeiture of the Prize. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility. No substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted.
- Privacy:
Except where prohibited by law, Entrant agrees that any personal information supplied by Entrant will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor posted at Privacy Policy – Open Weaver. By entering the Contest, Entrant agrees that Sponsor can share Entrant’s email address and any other personally identifiable information for the purpose of administration of the Contest and Prize fulfilment. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the Prize, winner grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the winner’s name, photograph, voice and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation, or renumeration of any kind for advertising and other publicity purposes in any media throughout the world.
- Winner’s Name:
The name of the Winner of the Contest will be supplied by Sponsor by reply email to any email request submitted to connect@openweaver.com not less than 30 days nor more than 90 days after the Contest Period.
- Limitation Of Liability:
Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Contest; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Contest; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the Internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued Internet, wireless or landline phone service; or (f) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Contest or download of any materials in the Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest in whole or in part. ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, AND ASSIGNS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, INJURIES, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR VIOLATION OF THESE CONTEST RULES, REPRESENTATIONS, AND OBLIGATIONS.
- Intellectual Property Rights:
Entrant grants to Sponsor an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to copy, store, edit, sell, use, distribute, transmit and publish Entrant’s Contest entry in whole or in part. Entrant grants to Sponsor all right, title, and interest to any ideas, enhancements, or products and all property rights therein including without limitation all patent, copyright, trade secret, mask work, trademark, moral right, or other intellectual property rights (“Intellectual Property Rights”). Entrant warrants that Entrant has created Entrant’s Contest entry, that Entrant owns all Intellectual Property Rights in Entrant’s Contest entry and that Sponsor’s use of the entry and information contained in the entry in accordance with these rules will not infringe any person’s intellectual property rights or other legal rights.
- Sponsor:
The sponsor of this Contest is Open Weaver, Inc., 1100 Brickell Bay Drive, # 310850, Miami FL, 33231 (“Sponsor”). By participating in the Contest, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries and the overall administration of the Contest.
