24 Aug :: Week 2 Live Bootcamp

INTRODUCTION TO WEEK 2

In week 2 of the internship, our focus will be on how JavaScript Programming has emerged as the leading scripting language used in a wide range of applications today. JavaScript’s versatility enables it to handle diverse use cases, empowering developers to accomplish tasks with comparable speed and functionality to other programming languages. Through the Week 2 Live Bootcamp and Coding Project, we will learn the essentials of JavaScript Programming, including fundamental concepts such as variables, data types, control flow, functions, and object-oriented programming to create a Simple Web Application. Today we also learn as to how to create a 2048 Game in Node.js.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing this week’s Bootcamp & Coding Project you will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of the Fundamentals of JavaScript Programming Language.
  • Learn various concepts like the use of tags, types of variables, types of data, functions, and objects used to create interesting applications in JavaScript.
  • Get a simple web application that you can customize and fine-tune the model to enhance its performance.

LIVE BOOTCAMP

Unlock the potential of JavaScript Programming by immersing yourself in a series of hands-on exercises and projects. This comprehensive learning experience will empower you to master key JavaScript concepts such as functions, arrays, objects , asynchronous programming, and manipulating the DOM.

Watch this Live Bootcamp (recording available below after live session) on how to write clean and efficient JavaScript code, understand key concepts like variables, functions, arrays, and conditionals, and harness the power of JavaScript to create dynamic and interactive web applications..

NOTE :: You must sign in/sign up (top right corner of this page) to record your attendance while watching this live or recorded bootcamp. Just sign in and then watch - it’s as easy as that!

PRACTICAL EXERCISE

Click the below button to access the JavaScript Programming kandi kit. This kit has all the required dependencies and resources you need to build your application.

Click on the 1-Click Installer button on the kandi kit page to install the JavaScript Programming kit. On installing and running this kit, you will have a working model that you can customize and use in your project.

Below are three sample coding exercises that will help you advance in your journey in JavaScript Programming. To get started, use the relevant keywords to search for simple code snippets in the search bar on kandi .

Sample Exercise 1 - Basic JavaScript Functions concept: This exercise on function helps you understand & create a block of code designed to perform a particular task.

Sample Exercise 2 - Create a new data type in JavaScript: This exercise helps you work around the concept of datatypes in JavaScript and create one of your own.

Sample Exercise 3 - Birthday calculator using JavaScript: : Create your your own birthday calculator.

CODING PROJECT

Complete and submit this interesting Coding Project and receive your Web Development Learner Badge!

It is mandatory for you to complete your weekly Coding Project in order to receive your final Internship Completion Certificate.

NOTE :: For questions 6-10, please ensure you upload screenshots of your code and outcome in PNG format ONLY. We will not be able to consider answers provided in text or any other format. You will receive your Badge #4 if you meet the minimum requirement of 60% correct answers. If not, you will receive an email from us requesting you to retake the Coding Project.
